About Roger Gorman
Fine Art Photography
Travel back in time to 1963 and witness 10-year-old Roger Gorman in his makeshift darkroom, mesmerized with the art of painting with light. On his journey to becoming a professional photographer, Roger served as an apprentice to several great photographers.
At age16, he spent hours developing and printing original artwork in black and white under the tutelage of these many fine art photographers. At age 18, Roger saw one of his fine art photographs selected to exhibit with the top 100, drawn from the entries of numerous professional U.S. photographers.
With camera in tow, the next 35 years brought a world of adventure to Roger’s life. One and a half million air miles brought him to eight states and 22 countries. He worked on all seven continents, encountered temperatures of 60 degrees below zero digging a tunnel at the South Pole, and survived 100 mph winds on the Antarctic coast.
Fast forward to 2012. Roger helped start a flourishing analytics agency. After seeing it through its first four years, he now sits on the Boards of Directors of three corporations in the U.S. and one in Ireland.
Throughout Roger’s storied life, he’s captured life in stunning black and white, and a full spectrum of color. Our online fine art gallery offers his unique studies and fine art pictures and original artwork.
